The Vintage Story: Two Seasons, Two Expressions

This year's Artisan release captures the essenceof two distinct growing seasons in the Barossa Valley.

2025 Vintage – Artisan Semillon & Rosé

Following a warmanddry 2024, the 2025 season was marked by extreme dryness, some reports citing the driestseasonsince the late 1960s. Frost events in September tested resilience, while a warm spring and rapid ripening in January demanded precise vineyard management. Picking commenced onFebruary 3rd,earlier than normal, yielding small quantities of high-quality fruit.

2022 Vintage – The Artisan Reds

The 2022 vintage was a winemaker’s dream. A wet winter and cool spring preceded a mild and dry summer and autumn which resulted in even ripening across all varieties, producingbalanced wines with lifted aromatics, fine tannins, and impressive depth. A worthy follow on from the 2021 Vintage.
