"Sophia is crafted to tell the story of my Great-Great Grandmother fairly. She was an enormously strong woman who was the (largely) unsung hero of the early days in the Barossa. She had 21 pregnancies, 13 children surviving to adulthood and fed a workforce of up to 120 men, three meals a day. What an extraordinary woman!

2005 was a delightful vintage, offering generous ripe fruit, deep colour and great complexity. Two years in small oak has helped to mellow the wine somewhat, and further cellaring will reward the patient."
