It is a recognised truth that certain vintages give you more chance with some varieties than others, and the beauty of 2015 is that it supported well the later-ripening varieties like Cabernet. This is deliciously ripe without being too ‘full’, while still retaining the natural elegance and length of good Cabernet.
The current youthful exuberance of this wine makes it a really versatile number: any grilled or roasted meats, ragout-based pasta, and even more robust vegetable dishes and salads (lentil, chick-pea or couscous).
