The greatest attribute is persistence. For MSV large spoonfuls are taken each day to ensure that the initial dream continues to become a reality in ways never expected. With time persistence is rewarded.

On an internal scale, MSV won 5 medals in the 2010 Decanter Awards from 7 wines entered – 3 of those medals were GOLD. On a national scale, MSV was the highest achieving winery with the most Gold medals won.

It puts a smile on our faces that I am sure will be there for some time.

The life of a wine maker is not as glamorous as many may imagine. Long hours in the winery through vintage, careful monitoring of the vineyard during the primes growing season, travelling to every corner of the Earth to promote the brand and in their somewhere spending time with those around you that you hold dear.

But, this reward as more fuel to the fire.

It is passion that drives us all at Murray Street. Whether it by Andrew in the Winery, Neil in the Vineyard or all the administration staff – it is passion for what we are doing and where we live.
