Take a break from your day and enjoy our pocket of the Barossa.

traditional barossa produce

The Barossa is all about wine and food.
Andrew and I had the passion to make the wine and surrounding us
are many producers who have the passion for food. We have explored the region and
selected fresh local produce all made using traditional methods. The bread from Apex bakery
is baked in the original wood fire oven, the meats are smoked in traditional smoking houses,
the dill cucumbers are pickled following old family recipes, and the quinces
for the quince jelly are grown just outside the Tasting Room door!
We invite you to our Tasting Room to enjoy the true flavours of the Barossa.

‘TIS THE SEASON…

One thing that Andrew and I enjoy doing is going to the Farmer’s Market
on Saturday mornings in Angaston and filling our bags with seasonal produce. The plates
in the Tasting Room are inspired from those visits. All the produce is seasonal –
right down to the cheese. We source our cheese from the local cheese maker in Greenock.
What cheeses are available depends on the type of milk produced by the cows…
You can see how the wheel turns!
Seasonal foods make a food experience unique and exciting.

ESPRESSO COFFEE AND FINE TEAS

If you think sampling the delights of Food Barossa is a ‘chore’ then try sampling various
coffee blends from numerous coffee houses! We did and believe me, my afternoon was a buzz!
Our passion for food follows through to the coffee and tea drink. It is good, very good.
